Guestii is built around the door and the promoter: QR scanning across every door, walk-in card payments on Square at reception, and promoter teams with their own lists, commission tiers and bulk payouts. Guestlists, tickets, tables and a guest CRM sit on the same guest record. It is a strong fit when promoters fill the room and Square already runs the door and bar.

VenueStack is built for venues where tickets, tables, passes and the door all happen on the same night, and the team changes through the season. At the door, staff scan tickets and passes, find a guest by name and count heads, offline too once the night is loaded. New staff learn each job with guides that play on the page they are using. One plan covers all of it.

Questions aboutGuestii.

More questions, answered

No. Guestii’s pricing page lists no subscription and no setup fee, and guestlists and comps cost nothing. It charges a flat 50c per paid entry plus Square’s processing, added at checkout and paid by the buyer. The figures are in Australian dollars and convert to local currency, so ask for yours.

On fixed cost, it can be: Guestii has no subscription, and VenueStack is $200 a month. Per sale, VenueStack adds 4% processing fees, at least $2 plus Stripe’s card fees, and Guestii’s published rates are Australian examples that vary by region. Ask Guestii for its rates in your currency, then compare what guests and the venue pay over the same month.

Yes. Guestii’s help center describes a scanner that keeps working with no connection once the event is loaded, then syncs check-ins when the device reconnects. VenueStack also scans tickets and passes offline and finds guests by name, as long as each device opened VenueStack online before doors so tonight’s list is saved.

Guestii onboards venues after a 30-minute demo and keeps help articles for organizers, reception and scanner staff, with a screen recording walkthrough for reception. VenueStack includes hands-on virtual training with our team, then narrated How-to guides that play on the dashboard’s own pages, filtered to each person’s role, which staff can replay any time, alongside its Help Center.

No. VenueStack gives each promoter a tracking link or QR code and shows the views and sales each one brings in, but it doesn’t calculate commissions or pay promoters. Guestii builds commission tiers and settles them with bulk bank files and Xero, so if payouts run your nights, keep a tool for them alongside any Guestii alternative.

List your future events, the tickets already sold and the promoters you pay, export the guest data Guestii lets you take, and plan how you’ll take walk-in payments at the door. Rebuild one night in VenueStack and run it with your door staff before you move live events. We don’t promise an automatic import.
