Discotech is a nightlife marketplace for guests. Its site lists clubs city by city, from Las Vegas and Miami to New York, where guests sign up for free guest lists, request VIP tables and find tickets. Its team sends each table request to the venue’s managers to approve, and the tickets are sold by providers such as Eventbrite and TIXR. Venues apply to be listed and pay commission only on the sales it brings. It suits a venue that wants to be found by guests browsing for a night out.

VenueStack is the venue’s own booking system, on its own site. Guests book VIP tables on your floor plan with deposits and minimum spends, buy tickets and join guest lists through your booking page and widgets, and every order and booking builds one customer list. A venue can keep a marketplace like Discotech as one sales channel and take direct bookings itself. One plan covers all of it.

Discotech commission and total cost

Discotech lists venues on a commission-only model, paid on the sales it brings, and doesn’t publish its rate. VenueStack is $200 a month with every feature, plus processing fees.

Monthly subscription
  • VenueStack
    $200

Every feature. $180 a month billed yearly.

Discotech quotes each venue. Ask for
  • The commission on tables, and whether it’s worked out on the deposit or the final bill
  • Any commission on guest list sign-ups and on tickets sold through its links
  • Who collects deposits and prepayments, and when the venue is paid
  • Which guest details you receive with each booking, and whether you can email those guests
  • Contract length, and how to pause or end a listing

Before processing fees and tax.

  • Processing fees

VenueStack adds 4% processing fees, at least $2 and at most $50 (C$2.50–C$50, €2–€50, £1.50–£50). Ask Discotech for its commission on each booking.

  • Card processing

VenueStack uses Stripe at your country’s rate. Discotech’s privacy policy mentions card processors without naming them.

  • Who pays

In VenueStack you choose, fee by fee, whether guests pay at checkout or the venue does. Discotech says venues pay only for the sales it generates.

  • Currency and billing

VenueStack bills in US dollars, monthly or yearly. Ask Discotech how and in which currency it charges commission.

VenueStack pricing and feesDiscotech publishes no monthly price; checked October 2026.

Rehearse one real night before you go direct

Bring your floor plan and one real night to a demo. We’ll set up direct booking with you, and your team can run it before you share the link.

  1. Rebuild the night

Recreate your tables, sections, deposits and minimums, then your ticket types, promo codes and guest lists.

  2. Plan both channels

Decide what stays listed on Discotech. VenueStack doesn’t connect to it, so add each approved Discotech table yourself from the Tables page.

  3. Run a rehearsal

Have hosts and door staff run one night with the guides on, before you share your booking link.

Questions about Discotech.

More questions, answered

Discotech’s site, checked 16 October 2026, describes a nightlife booking service where guests sign up for free and discounted guest lists, book tables and buy tickets, with bottle service in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Ibiza “and 50+ other cities.” Its terms say Discotech isn’t the owner of any venue or the creator of the events it lists, and isn’t a party to transactions between users and venues.

Its List Your Business page, checked 16 October 2026, describes a commission-only model: “Pay only for the sales we generate.” It doesn’t publish a rate, a contract length or when venues are paid, so ask for those in writing. VenueStack is $200 a month with every feature. It charges 4% processing fees, at least $2 and at most $50 (C$2.50–C$50, €2–€50, £1.50–£50), plus Stripe’s card fees, and you choose whether guests or the venue pay each fee.

Not itself. Its ticket refund article, checked 16 October 2026 and last updated in March 2020, says “At Discotech, we do not sell any tickets ourselves” and names providers such as Eventbrite, TIXR, SeeTickets and Ticketmaster. Its terms add that ticket sales are always done directly with the ticket provider, so refunds go through whichever provider sold the ticket. VenueStack sells your tickets, with tiers and promo codes, on your own booking page.

Its booking process article, checked 16 October 2026, says a guest’s request goes to the venue’s owner, VIP director or general manager, and Discotech confirms it once they approve. If a deposit or card hold is needed, it sends the guest a secure link, and its terms say the venue’s cancellation policy applies. The club picks the table within the booked tier on arrival. In VenueStack, guests book a section of your floor plan, with its deposit and minimum spend shown at checkout.

Yes, as separate channels. Discotech’s booking article, checked 16 October 2026, says table requests go to the venue’s managers to approve and the venue enters the booking in its own system. VenueStack doesn’t connect to Discotech or import its bookings, so add each approved Discotech table yourself with New reservation on the Tables page. It then sits on your floor plan beside the bookings guests make on your own site.

Discotech’s privacy policy, checked 16 October 2026, says it shares a guest’s information with a venue to put them on a guest list or make a table reservation, and its terms ask guests for their full legal name so the venue can verify who they are. Ask which details you receive and whether you may email those guests later. In VenueStack, every order and booking on your own page builds your customer list, ready to tag and email about the next event.

For direct bookings, yes. Discotech brings guests who browse its listings, on the commission-only model its venue page described on 16 October 2026. VenueStack is your own booking page and widgets, where guests book tables, buy tickets and join guest lists, for $200 a month with every feature and a 14-day free trial on your first subscription. A venue can keep Discotech as one channel and take direct bookings on its own site.
