Fennec describes itself as an operating system for premium venues: floor plans and tables, the door and ticketing, bottle service paid on Square Terminal, promoters, inventory, a guest CRM, marketing and loyalty, with Ferry, its AI copilot, across them. Every product is opt-in. It is a strong fit when one system should run the bar and stock too, and your venue can join its rollout.

VenueStack leaves the bar and stock to the tools you already use. It is built for venues where tickets, tables, passes and the door all happen on the same night, and the team running them changes through the season. Every ticket, booking and check-in builds one guest list, new staff learn each job inside the dashboard, and one plan covers all of it, with a free trial first.

Is VenueStack the right Fennec alternative for your venue?

When to choose VenueStack or Fennec
VenueStackFennec
Choose it if
  • You run ticketed events and VIP tables on the same nights and want them in one place
  • New hosts and door staff join through the season and need to learn without a manager beside them
  • You want a published price for every feature, and a free trial before you pay
  • You want bar stock, inventory and bottle service in the same system as your tables
  • You use Square, Toast or Lightspeed and want two-way POS sync
  • You want an AI copilot that drafts campaigns and acts on suggestions you approve

Rehearse one real night before you switch

Bring your floor plan and one real event to a demo. We’ll set up the night with you, and your team can run it before anything moves.

  1. Match the scope

List what your nights need, such as tickets, tables, deposits and the door, and compare only those products.

  2. Check what moves

Confirm which guest and booking exports Fennec allows. Don’t expect loyalty points, stock counts or AI settings to move.

  3. Run a rehearsal

Have hosts and door staff run one night with the guides on, before your first live event.

Questions aboutFennec.

More questions, answered

Its site says Fennec is rolling out to a hand-picked group of venues, with an early-access waitlist and demos on request. We checked in October 2026. Ask about access for your venue and city before planning dates.

Yes. Its docs say every product is opt-in and can be turned off in Settings, and each role gets its own views. When you weigh VenueStack as a Fennec alternative, compare the products you would switch on, not the full product menu. VenueStack includes every feature on one plan, and roles hide the areas each person doesn’t need.

Fennec describes Ferry as an AI copilot that coordinates specialist agents and acts on suggestions you approve. VenueStack Pulse is not an AI agent. It lists what needs someone tonight, such as a waiting table request, an unpaid deposit or a door scanner that went quiet, and gives your team the action for each.

Ask Fennec to put its current early-access offer in writing: the subscription and its currency, ticket and deposit fees, the modules included, Square hardware and card fees, SMS and email costs, and the training and support that come with access. Then compare it with the same month in VenueStack.

VenueStack is $200 a month, or $180 a month billed yearly, with every feature. It charges 4% processing fees, at least $2, plus Stripe’s card fees, and you choose whether guests or the venue pay each fee. Fennec doesn’t publish prices on its site, so compare totals once you have its offer.

In VenueStack you connect your own Stripe account to take payments, and chat and the AI concierge need setting up before guests see them. Fennec’s docs suggest connecting Square and messaging first, with Twilio for SMS and Resend for email. List the services and charges each one needs before you compare.
