Choose who gets an email
Updated
An email goes to people in your Customers list who have an email address. That includes guests who bought tickets, booked tables, bought passes, chatted with you, or were imported.
Pick the audience
- On the email's Details step, look at the To row. It shows who gets the email and how many people that is.
- To send to everyone, leave it as All customers.
- To narrow it down, click Add a filter and choose one. Add as many as you need:
- Has a tag or Doesn't have a tag
- Spent, in total or on tickets, tables or passes, at least or at most an amount
- Last bought, such as in the last 90 days, or not in the last 6 months
- Bought tickets to or Booked a table at chosen events
- Click the x beside a filter to remove it.
When the email is about an event, keep Leave out people who already bought or booked the events in this email on, so buyers aren't asked again.
Who is left out
Click Who's left out to see why some customers won't get it:
- no email address, or the same address twice
- they unsubscribed, their address bounced, or they marked an earlier email as spam
- they already got two emails from you in the last seven days
- they already bought what the email is about
The count is checked again when the email sends, so it can change slightly.
Good to know
- Each month you can send a set number of emails. The audience shows how many are left, and an audience larger than that can't be sent.
- Your first email can go to a few hundred people at most, so a new sender builds a good reputation with inboxes.
