Create an email

Emails go to your customers with your venue name at the top and your brand colour on the buttons. Every link leads to your own event and pass pages.

Start an email

1. Go to Emails and click New email. The starting points open in a window. Your first time, they're on the page itself.
2. Choose one: Event launch, This weekend, Ticket release, Tables available, Last chance or Newsletter. Or click Start from a blank email.
3. The email opens. It saves itself as you work.

To email about one event or pass, open it and choose Email guests from its menu. The email starts with it filled in.

Write it

The email is set up in two steps, with the email itself on the right the whole time, updating as you type.

1. Details: choose who it goes to (see Choose who gets an email), then type the Subject and Preview text. The preview text shows after the subject in most inboxes. From shows your venue name. Click Next: content.
2. Content: click a block to open its settings, or click that part of the email on the right.
3. Click Add a block to add one after the open block.
   • From your venue: Event, Upcoming events, Ticket, Table and Pass. Their names, dates, prices and pictures come from your venue and stay up to date.
   • Basics: Heading, Text, Image, Button, Divider and Space.
4. Drag a block's handle to move it. Duplicate and Remove are at the bottom of an open block.

A number beside Details or Content shows how many things there still need fixing.

In text, use the buttons for bold, italic, a link, or First name, which fills in each person's first name (or "there" if you don't have it).

A block with a problem, such as an event that is no longer published, is marked Needs attention and says why. The email can't be sent until it's fixed.

Check how it looks

The email on the right is exactly what will be sent. Use the sun and moon beside the subject to see it in light and dark inboxes, and the computer and phone to change its width. On a phone, Preview sits beside Details and Content.
