Run tables offline

While you're online, tonight's floor is saved on the phone, floor plan included. When the internet drops, Tables still opens and the floor keeps working.

Open Tables offline

1. Tap Tables. Tonight's floor opens, marked Offline copy with when it was saved.
2. If more than one event has tables tonight, pick one.
3. Work the floor as usual. When you're back online, the live page takes over.

If it says the floor isn't on this device yet, the phone wasn't online long enough to save it.

What you can do

• Arrive, Unarrive, and the Guests count.
• Seat, move, and unseat a party.
• Complete a reservation.
• Add Notes.
• Add a walk-in with New Reservation. If you entered the guest's email, it goes once the reservation syncs.
• Open Details to read a reservation. Payments and the log need a connection.

The floor shows each change straight away. Sync counts what's waiting, and it all sends by itself once you're back online.

When another device changed it

If someone changed the same reservation on another device meanwhile, their change wins. Yours shows under Needs attention in Sync, with the reason. Check the reservation on the Tables page, then tap Dismiss.

A walk-in whose table was taken on another device is still saved, in Unseated, and shows under Needs attention. Seat it at another table.

Needs a connection

Swapping two parties, canceling, reopening, closing or joining tables, changing section, and deposits.
