Embed on your website

Widgets let guests see your events, buy tickets, and book tables without leaving your own website. They only show published events.

Set up and copy a widget

1. Go to Settings → Widget and choose a tab:
   • Calendar: your full events calendar.
   • Upcoming: a grid of your next 4 or 6 events.
   • Event: the checkout for one event. Pick it under Select Event.
   • Chat: the chat button. See Set up chat and concierge.
2. Pick a Color, and Dark or Light to suit your website. The background is see-through.
3. Check the preview with Desktop and Mobile.
4. Click the copy button on the Code box.

Your choices are part of the code, not saved in VenueStack. If you change them later, copy the code again and replace the old one.

Paste it into your website

1. Open the page in your website editor.
2. Add a custom code block. Builders often call it "Embed", "Custom code", or "HTML".
3. Paste the whole code and publish the page.
4. Open the live page and check the widget appears.

Paste the whole code, not just the first line, or the widget may be cut off.

For Chat, paste the code in your builder's site-wide header or footer setting so it shows on every page.
