Sell passes online

Guests can buy a pass from your public pages, much as they buy tickets. You set the price in the pass itself, then publish it. See Create a pass.

Set the price

1. Go to Passes, open Products, and open the pass, or click New pass.
2. On the Pricing step, enter a Price. 0 makes the pass free.
3. To sell only between two dates, choose a Sales start and a Sales end. Any time means no limit.
4. To cap sales, turn on Limit how many are sold or Limit per guest and enter a number.
5. Click Save changes, or Create pass for a new pass.

Prices are in your venue currency. If your currency changes, open the pass and save it again.

A paid pass needs Stripe connected, and a price above the fees you pay. Fees and tax follow your Settings → Payments, exactly as for tickets. See Who pays fees, and tax.

Put it on sale

Open the pass from Products. It must be Active.

• Publish puts the pass on your public pages, and Public shows next to it in Products. Only a published pass can be bought. Unpublish takes it off.
• Pause sales stops new purchases. The pass stays on your public pages as not on sale, and you can still issue it by hand. Resume sales starts them again.
• View public page (the arrow button) opens the pass as guests see it. Share that link so guests can find it.

Archiving a pass stops its sales and takes it off your public pages.

What guests do

1. The guest taps Buy pass, or Get pass for a free one.
2. They sign in with their email. Buying a pass needs a customer account. Ticket and table checkout still work without one.
3. They pay, unless the pass is free, and get a confirmation email.

The email has no QR code. Guests open the pass in their account to see it.

Purchases appear under Issued with the type Purchase. A bought pass has no holder name, so the door shows the guest's email.

Good to know

• A pass in someone's checkout counts as taken until they finish or it expires.
• Only purchases count toward your limits. Passes you issue by hand do not.
• Changing the price, sales dates, or limits after a sale makes a new version of the pass. Earlier buyers keep what they bought.
