Table rules per event

The Tables tab on an event decides which sections guests can book and what they pay that night. You need a floor plan first, and payments connected to take paid deposits.

Turn on table booking

1. Go to Events and open the event.
2. Click the Tables tab.
3. Click Enable Table Service.
4. For each section, use the switch to allow bookings, and set:
   • Deposit: what a guest pays online for one table. At 0, guests send a free request that shows as Pending until you seat it.
   • Minimum: the minimum spend (optional).
   • Limit: the most tables one guest can book (optional).
5. Click Save. On a computer it is in the Table settings panel on the right, with the Table service and Timeslots switches.

To go back to the floor plan defaults, click Restore to default (the circular arrows) on a section. If the event repeats, Save asks whether to apply the change to This event or This and all future events.

Split the night into timeslots

Timeslots let you sell the same tables more than once, such as a 7 PM and a 10 PM seating.

1. On the Tables tab, scroll to Timeslots, below Table service.
2. Click Enable Timeslots. A window opens for the first timeslot.
3. Give it a name (optional), set Start and End, and click Add timeslot.
4. Click Add timeslot for each extra seating. To change one, click its time or the pencil. Use the switch to turn a timeslot off, and the $ button for its own section pricing.
5. Click Save.

Timeslots cannot overlap, and each must end after it starts on the same day.

To give one timeslot its own prices, click its $ button, turn on Enable custom rules, and fill in the sections you want to change. Empty boxes keep the event's values.

To pause a timeslot, turn off its switch. A timeslot that already has reservations can be disabled but not deleted.

Good to know

• Section names, capacity, and tables are changed on the floor plan, not here.
• On the Tables page, pick a timeslot from the clock drop-down to see only its reservations.
