Set up your floor plan

Your floor plan holds your rooms, your table sections (such as Main Floor or VIP), and every table. Events use these sections, and the Tables page shows them on a map on the night. Go to Settings → Floor plan to set it up.

Add rooms and sections

Changes in this part save on their own.

1. Under Venue Layouts, click + to add a room, and type a Layout name.
2. To use a picture of the room, click the empty square and choose an image. Or leave it empty and draw the room in the layout editor.
3. Under Table Sections, click + to add a section. Fill in:
   • Section Name and Color.
   • Capacity per Table (optional).
   • Default Deposit: what a guest pays to book one table online.
   • Default Minimum and Default Purchase Limit (optional).
4. Click the + next to the table list to add tables. Rename each one, for example "V1" or "Booth 3".

These defaults are copied into each event, where you can change them. See Table rules per event.

Place tables on the map

The Layout Editor sits below Table Sections. It needs a computer.

1. If you have more than one room, pick it from the drop-down.
2. Drag tables from the list on the left onto the room.
3. Click a table to resize it or change its shape. To line up several, Shift+click them and use the align buttons.
4. For a room with no picture, use the toolbar to draw walls, add text such as "Bar", or add furniture from the + library.
5. Click Save Settings.

Remove tables or sections

• Tables: tick their checkboxes, click Delete, and confirm. Reservations on them become unseated.
• Sections: click the trash icon. A section that has had reservations is archived instead, and you can Restore it later from Archived Sections.
• Rooms: click the X on the room. Its tables go back to the unplaced list.

Good to know

• Guests pick a section when they book, not a specific table. You choose the table on the night.
• Sections you add later start switched off in existing events.
• Rooms that use a PDF cannot have tables placed on them. Use an image instead.
