How guests book a table

Guests book tables on the event's page, from your booking page or a widget. They choose a section and how many tables, never a table number. What they see comes from your floor plan and the event's table rules.

What guests choose

1. On an event that sells tickets too, guests tap Tables at the top of the checkout.
2. If the night has timeslots, they pick one under Choose a time. A full one shows Sold out.
3. View table map opens your room, with each section's tables outlined in its color. Tapping a table shows its section's Deposit, Minimum, and how many tables are free. Book Now adds a table from that section.
4. Each section shows its deposit, guests per table, and minimum spend. A section with no deposit shows On request, and a full one shows Sold out.
5. Guests set how many tables with + and −, up to the section's limit and the tables left.
6. Once they have a table, Add-ons opens anything you sell with tables.

When you show menus at checkout, guests can open them from Menus under the event. See Venue details and menus.

Checkout

1. Guests click Continue and enter their Full name, Email, and Phone. All three are required.
2. Order lists each section with how many tables, add-ons, tax, fees, and the total.
3. If you set checkout terms, they tick to agree.
4. For a paid table, they click Continue to payment and pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. A countdown shows how long their tables are held.
5. For a table with no deposit, they click Send request. The checkout tells them you'll review the request.

What happens next

• Paid: each table becomes its own reservation on the Tables page, as $ Paid, and waits under Unseated unless Auto seat tables is on. The guest gets a "Table Reservation Confirmed" email and can add the booking to Wallet.
• Request: each table arrives as Pending, and the guest gets a "Table Reservation Request Received" email. Seat it to approve it.
