Servers, notes, and reports

Updated

Tools for working the room on the night and remembering guests afterwards.

Assign servers to tables

Give servers a role with Assigned Access to Tables. They then see only the tables you assign them. See Roles and permissions.

  1. Go to Tables and open the event.
  2. Click a table on the map, then click the person button.
  3. Tick everyone who should have this table.
  4. Click Save.

Assignments are for this event only. Servers can mark arrivals, complete visits, and add notes on their tables. They cannot seat, move, or cancel, and they do not see payments.

Notes, ratings, and tags

  • Add a note: open a reservation's menu and choose Notes. Type your note and click send. Notes show who wrote them and cannot be edited later.
  • Rate a visit: when you Complete a reservation, choose 1 to 5 stars under Customer Rating, and add Feedback (optional).
  • Tag a guest: add tags such as "VIP" under Tags when completing. Tags stay with the guest for future visits and appear on their customer profile.

At the bottom right of the map:

  • The printer button opens a PDF with a seating list and a picture of the room. Only seated reservations are included.
  • The download button saves a picture of the room.
  • The person and dollar buttons show guest names or minimums on the tables.

If the event uses timeslots, pick one first.

Table preferences

On the Tables event list, click the gear next to the search box. Each switch saves straight away.

  • Auto seat tables gives paid online bookings the next free table in their section. Off by default.
  • Thank you emails emails the guest when you complete their visit, with your Google review and social links. On by default. Add those links in Venue details and menus.
