The best nightclub software, ranked.
Ten platforms venues weigh against each other, in order of how much of a night out their own pages say they handle: tickets, VIP tables and deposits, the door, the guest and the business. We make VenueStack, so the method and every comparison behind it are on this page.

How we ranked them.
Every platform is scored on the same 19 capabilities, the ones each side-by-side page lays out. A capability counts in full when the platform’s own pages describe it on the plan we compared, and half when it sits on a higher plan, is sold separately or covers only part of the job. When a company’s pages don’t describe something, it counts as not described, which is not the same as not offered: ask them.
Ties go to the platform that publishes its price, then to the one that covers more of the night itself. We haven’t run the same night on every product, so the score says what each one does, not how well. VenueStack’s own gaps count too: it has no POS integration or ID scanning, and its promoter tools stop at tracking links.

On what each platform’s own pages describe for running a night, VenueStack ranks first with 16.5 of 19 capabilities, then Fourvenues and Fennec. We make VenueStack, so read the method on this page: every score comes from each company’s own pages, and anything a page doesn’t describe counts as not described rather than missing.
Eventbrite sells tickets; a nightclub usually needs VIP tables with deposits on the same night. Of the platforms here, VenueStack, Fourvenues, Fennec, Mr Black and Guestii describe both tables and deposits on the plan we compared. Each has a side-by-side page with Eventbrite’s fees beside its own price.
VenueStack, Mr Black, Guestii, TablelistPro, Eventbrite and Vēmos publish a price or a fee on their own pages. Fourvenues, Fennec, UrVenue and SevenRooms quote each venue, so ask for the full cost in writing, including setup and any fee on each sale.
Because the count rewards doing the whole night on one plan, which is how VenueStack is built, and because we know our own product best. It doesn’t measure how well each task works: no matched hands-on test has been run. Use the side-by-side pages, then ask each company to run one of your real nights with you before you choose.
Each comparison is rechecked against the company’s own pages before it is republished, and this list is worked out from those comparisons, so it changes when they do. Confirm prices with each company before you buy.
