What VenueStack does
Updated
VenueStack is the dashboard your venue uses to run events, sell tickets, take table reservations, and talk to guests.
The areas of the dashboard
| Area | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Events | Create events, repeat them, and see them on a calendar. See Your events calendar. |
| Tickets | Set up ticket types, promo codes, and add-ons, follow orders, and check guests in. See Set up ticket types. |
| Tables | Set up your floor plan, take reservations, and run the floor on the night. See Set up your floor plan. |
| Chats | Reply to guests and set up an AI concierge. See Set up chat and concierge. |
| Reports | Sales, event results, page views, and tracking links. See Sales and event results. |
| Customers | Everyone who bought a ticket, booked a table, or chatted with you. See Your customer list. |
| Settings | Venue details, menus, floor plan, website tools, team, payments, and subscription. |
Check-in has no menu item of its own. You open the scanner from Tickets, or from the top bar on a phone. See Check guests in.
What guests see
Guests never see your dashboard. They see your public events calendar and event pages, checkout, any widgets you add to your own website, and chat if you turn it on. Paid tickets and deposits need a connected Stripe account. See Connect payments.
To open your public calendar, click View Calendar at the bottom of the sidebar.
Who sees what
Each person on your team has a role. The role decides which areas they can open and what they can change. Areas a role cannot open are hidden from the menu. See Roles and permissions.
Most areas also need an active subscription. Without one, they show a lock icon, and Settings → Subscription stays open. See Your subscription.
